Russia began to supply Iraq with heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A “Solntsepek” (blaze of the sun) – “Vedomosti”

According to the newspaper, earlier information about Iraq’s procurement system TOS-1A in the public domain was absent.

As confirmed by “Vedomosti” Sources in the defense industry, during a visit to Moscow last week the Iraqi delegation headed by the Minister of Defense Saadoun al-Duleymi  it was signed a contracts worth more than $ 1 billion for the delivery of a large consignment of arms to Iraq, including four combat machines TOS-1A “Solntsepek”, artillery, mortar weapons and ammunition.
