Reconciliation of opposing sides

Within last 24 hours, 4 ceasefire agreements have been signed with representatives of Qadiriyah, Samne al-Qibliya, Shhayeb and Shatba in the Hama province.

The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements has reached 1148.

Negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been continued with field commanders of detachments of armed opposition in the Homs, Hama, Aleppo, and al-Quneitra provinces

The number of armed formations, which had claimed to observe the ceasefire regime, remained 104.

Ceasefire observation

In accordance to the Joint Agreement on complex settling the Syrian conflict, ceasefire regime has been established starting from 00:00 on December 30, 2016.

The Falaq al-Sham, Jabhat Ahli al-Sham (Jaysh al-Mujahideen, Thuwar al-Sham), Firqa Sultan Murad, Jaysh Idlib, Suqour al-Sham, Falaq Rahman, Jabhat al-Shamiyah, Tadjamua Fastakin, Jaysh al-Izaa, Jaysh al-Nasr, al-Forqat al-Ula as-Sahili (1st coastal division), Jaysh al-Islam, and Liwa Shuhada al-Islam, Tadjammua Ahrar Ashair alDjanub, Djabhat Suvar Suria have joined the regime.

Within last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 14 cases in the Damascus (12), Hama (1) and Latakia (1) provinces.

The Turkish party has registered 11 violations in the provinces of Damascus (3), Aleppo (4), Daraa (2) and Homs (2).

In course of the investigation, the Russian party has not confirmed 11 violations.
