Reconciliation of opposing sides
Within last 24 hours, 4 truce agreements have been signed with representatives of Kiswah, Ruwaysat Badriya, al-Karama, and al-Keterbiya in the Damascus province.
The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements has reached 1101.
Negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been continued with field commanders of detachments of armed opposition in the Homs, Hama, Aleppo, and al-Quneitra provinces
The number of armed formations, which had claimed to observe the ceasefire regime, remained 104.
In accordance to the Joint Agreement on complex settling the Syrian conflict, ceasefire regime has been established starting from 00:00 on December 30, 2016.
The Falaq al-Sham, Jabhat Ahli al-Sham (Jaysh al-Mujahideen, Thuwar al-Sham), Firqa Sultan Murad, Jaysh Idlib, Suqour al-Sham, Falaq Rahman, Jabhat al-Shamiyah, Tadjamua Fastakin, Jaysh al-Izaa, Jaysh al-Nasr, al-Forqat al-Ula as-Sahili (1st coastal division), Jaysh al-Islam, and Liwa Shuhada al-Islam have joined the regime.
Within last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 6 cases in the provinces of Hama (2) and Latakia (4).
The Turkish party has registered 25 violations in the provinces of Idlib (11), Aleppo (8), Damascus (4), and Hama (2).
The investigation showed that the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization has violated the ceasefire regime 5 times. Another 20 cases have not been confirmed by the Russian party.
Humanitarian aid to the Syrian population
Within last 24 hours, 8 humanitarian events have been held:
in the Aleppo city (in the Sheikh Taha, al-Suqari, al-Ismailiya, al-Ismailiya, Sheikh Maqsood areas and in the Maaz Bin Jabal School) – about 1.5 tons;
in Suk Wadi Barada in the Damascus province – 1.1 tons;
in kindergarten in the Dahiya Tishrin area in the Latakia city – 700 kg.
In total, citizens have received more than 5 tons of humanitarian aid.
