The terrorists sustained heavy losses in the Syrian army’s attacks and air raids by the country’s warplanes.
The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.
Syrian Army troops and the country’s fighter jets targeted the positions of Fatah al-Sham Front (previously known as the al-Nusra Front) in at least 19 different regions in Northern Hama, inflicting tens of casualties on the militants.
The army targeted terrorists’ gatherings and positions in the towns and villages of Souran, Tal (hill) Hawash, Kafr Maboudeh, al-Qasabiyeh, Taybat al-Imam, al-Latamina, Kafr Awid, Karsaha, Tarmala, Tal al-Naseriyeh, Morek, Halfaya, al-Lahaya, Albuyizeh, Khirbet al-Hajameh, Latmin, and East of Jabin in Northern Hama, killing tens of terrorists and destroying their armored and military vehicles.
The Syrian air force also carried out ten combat sorties over terrorists’ concentration centers in Tal Othman, its surroundings and al-Baneh in Northwestern Hama, killing tens of militants.
The army men also seized a truck of militants carrying arms and ammunition in agricultural development crossroad in the Eastern countryside of Hama.
Hama Governor Qassan Khalaf disclosed on Tuesday that the Syrian army is paving the ground for seizing back the strategic towns of Taybat a-Imam and Halfaya in the Northern part of his province.
“After the terrorists seized control of the villages and farms in Northern Hama and displaced their residents, the Syrian army managed to recapture those regions and push back the militants; now the army units are readying to seize back Taybat al-Imam and Halfaya towns both of which are close to the city of Mahrada,” Khalaf told FNA.
He noted that the terrorists have taken control of many regions in Northern Hama, including al-Kabariya, Ma’an, Khafsin, al-Talissiya, Ma’ardes and Souran.
Khalaf pointed to a terrorist attack which took place in the town of Ma’ardes, and said, “In terrorist blasts conducted by three suicide bombers in al-Asi square, one terrorist was killed and two others blew up themselves.”
The Hama governor said that life is back to normal in Ma’ardes town.

The army soldiers targeted the bases and gatherings of the terrorists in the town of Talbiseh in Northern Homs, killing several militants and destroying their bases, arms and ammunition.
The Syrian air force also bombed the positions of ISIL and Fatah al-Sham in the villages of Rahoum, al-Mosheirefeh al-Janoubi, Huweises, East of the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur) in Eastern Homs, and the towns of al-Rastan, Talbiseh, al-Qantou and al-Sa’an al-Aswad in Northern Homs, leaving a number of terrorists dead or wounded, including non-Syrians.
Terrorists’ military hardware and vehicles also sustained major damage.
Meantime the Syrian military forces warded off another major ISIL attack on their defense lines in Eastern Homs after inflicting several casualties on the terrorists on Monday.
Army soldiers repelled ISIL’s offensive on their positions near the village of Maksar al-Hassan, 75 kilometers away from Homs city, in the Eastern part of the province, killing most of the group’s members, while the remaining pockets of ISIL fighters fled the battlefield towards the depth of al-Badiyeh (desert).
Meanwhile, other units of the army targeted the gatherings and military vehicles of ISIL in al-Salam al-Gharbi, al-Soltaniyeh and the village of Rahoum in Eastern Homs, destroying their vehicles.
The army soldiers also launched precise strikes at the bases and concentration centers of Fatah al-Sham Front in the villages and towns of Joureh Hasyan, Abu al-Anz farms, Ein Iss, Wadi Salim and al-Qantou in Northern Homs and Um Sharshouh and Tal (hill) Abu al-Sanasel in the Northwestern part of the province, killing and wounding a number of militants and destroying their equipment.
Also, the army soldiers destroyed a gathering of the terrorists in Tal (hill) Zahab in al-Houleh region, inflicting tens of casualties on the militants.
Syrian Air Force carried out tens of sorties over the terrorists’ supply roads in Idlib and Hama provinces to block transfer of fresh fighters, weapons and ammunition to Aleppo.
The Syrian fighter jets carried out a fresh round of air assaults along the militant-controlled part of the Aleppo-Damascus Highway near the towns of Saraqib and Ma’arat al-Nu’aman in Idlib province, destroying a number of military vehicles en route to the Aleppo province.
A number of terrorists were killed and their armored vehicles were destroyed in the Syrian army air and ground assault in Northern Lattakia.

The army soldiers hit hard the positions of Fatah al-Sham in al-Nazeheen Camp and al-Kark neighborhood in Dara’a al-Balad district, killing or wounding several militants.
The army men also targeted the gatherings of the terrorists North of the grain silo in al-Yadoudeh town, killing a number of them and destroying their military vehicles.
