Russian Defense Ministry found evidence of chemical weapons use in Syria

MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. Servicemen of the scientific center of Russia’s Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops have found evidence of chemical weapons use against Syrian troops and civilians in the southwest of Syria’s Aleppo, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman said on Friday.

An express test in a mobile lab revealed that the shells most likely contained chlorine and white phosphorus.

The samples will be further analyzed at the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops scientific facility in Russia, licensed by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
