Reconciliation of the opposing sides
Within last 24 hours, truce agreements have been signed with representatives of 15 inhabited areas of Latakia (8), Hama (6), and al-Quneitra (1) provinces in the Syrian Arab Republic.
The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 832.
Negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been continued with field commanders of illegal armed groups in the Damascus, Homs, Hama, Aleppo, and al-Quneitra provinces.
The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings remained 69.
Upon requests of the UN representatives, the ‘humanitarian pause’ has been prolonged for another 24 hours until 19 a.m. of October 22 under the decision of the President of the Russian Federation
Since October 18, Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian government troops have stopped performing strikes on terrorists. By the start of the ‘humanitarian pause’, Syrian troops have withdrawn at the distance allowing insurgents and citizens to leave eastern areas of the city through 8 special corridors.
Eight wounded insurgents of Ahrar al-Sham grouping have left eastern areas of the Aleppo city. They received medical assistance. Moreover, 10 civilians have managed to leave areas, which had been controlled by illegal armed groups.
Within last 24 hours, 45 shellings performed by illegal armed formations have been registered in the provinces of Aleppo (24), Damascus (19), and Hama (2).
Armed formations, which had claimed to join the ceasefire regime, have fired mortars and small arms against Hai al-Antari quarter of the Aleppo city; Harasta, Duma and Jaubar inhabited areas, and positions of the government troops near Kusair farms in the Damascus province.
In the Aleppo city, armed formations of terrorist groupings have fired improvised MLRS, tube artillery, AT guided missiles, mortars and small arms against Benjamin, Shurfa and al-Khader inhabited areas, northern farms in Sheikh Ali Kobtani inhabited area, al-Zahraa, Ramusi, 1070, al-Masharqa, Hai al-Ansari, Dar Menyan, al-Mahammad, and Suleiman-Khalyabi quarters of the Aleppo city, positions of the government troops near the cement plant, the Kastello trade center, al-Assad military academy, Kastello road, checkpoint 8 near Sheikh Najar quarter in the Aleppo city.
Haush Nasri, Haush al-Farah, Jaubar and Haush Harabu inhabited areas, farms in Deir Ali, electricity station, positions of government troops near Jaubar, al-Wafidin camp near Mazraat Mahmud, Ibn al-Walid hospital, Samidi crossroad, and medical service school in Harasta.
In the Hama province, terrorists have shelled leaving buildings and thermal power stations in the Makharda inhabited area.
Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.
Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria
Citizens of Maryn Aslaib (Hama province) have received 1 ton of humanitarian aid.
Posts with hot meal and items of first necessity continue their work for civilians who leave the districts of the Aleppo city, which are under control of terrorist armed groupings.
