Reconciliation of the opposing sides

Within last 24 hours, truce agreements have been signed with representatives of 9 inhabited areas in the Latakia (3), Es-Suwayda (3) and Hama (3) provinces.

The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 438.

Negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been continued with field commanders of armed opposition detachments active in the Damascus, Hama and Homs provinces.

The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings remained 69.

Ceasefire observation

The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 8 ceasefire violations have been registered in the Damascus (6), and Latakia (2) provinces.

Jaysh al-Islam formations, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, have performed mortar shelling of Jisrein, Nashabyah, Arbil, Jaubar,  Haush-Duarah, Duma in the Damascus province.

In the Latakia province, armed formations of the Ahrar ash-Sham and the Free Syrian army groupings have opened fire against Kallaz-Tahtani inhabited area and positions of Syrian Armed Forces near Abu-Ali mountain.

Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.

Humanitarian aid to the Syrian population

Low-income families of the Ash-Shukatlia inhabited area (Homs province) have received 1 ton of humanitarian cargos with rice, sugar, canned meat and fish.

Aircraft of the Abakan Air, Russian aviation company, has dropped 21 tons of UN humanitarian cargos with corns, salt, sugar on Deir ez-Zor, which had been besieged by ISIS terrorists.

The humanitarian situation in the western part of the Aleppo city is being stabilized and is under the control of the government of the Syrian Arab Republic.

Inhabitants of the Jibrin inhabited area (Aleppo province) have received 4 tons of humanitarian cargos with rice, sugar, tea, canned meat and fish.

Additional information

Groupings of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS international terrorist organizations do not stop making attempts to break the ceasefire regime.

Within last 24 hours, in the Aleppo city terrorists have shelled with improvised MLRS and mortars  Khai-al-Ansari quarter, areas near the cement and gaz plants, purification facilities and the Kastello trade center as well as humanitarian corridors in the Al-Halek district.

In the Damascus province, terrorists have also shelled Baharia, Haush-Harabu, Haush Nasri, Jaubar, Duma, Harasta inhabited areas; in the Latakia province – Zuaykat and Hamrat inhabited areas.
