Vladimir Putin held talks in Sochi with the President of South Africa Jacob Zuma. The meeting between the two leaders lasted for nearly five hours. During this time, they agreed on cooperation in the sphere of economy, culture, and industry.

In the field of aircraft planned co-production of light multi-purpose helicopter, there is a conversation on the supply of Russian aircraft to South Africa.

A source in the Russian delegation told the “Izvestia” that Russia plans to deliver to South Africa MC-21 aircraft and to produce jointly the helicopters “ANSAT” developed by the Kazan Helicopter Plant. These helicopters are controlled by one pilot, can be used as both a cargo and passenger (on board can be up to nine people)
