The order book for Russian weapons and military equipment, as of early May 2013, is exceeded $ 38 billion. According to him, the state company “Rosoboronexport” has recently signed a number of export contracts, including the supply of helicopters, anti-missile systems and services in modernization of equipment supplied.
Earlier it was reported that “Rosoboronexport” in 2012 concluded export contracts for the supply of Russian weapons and military equipment worth a total of 17.6 billion dollars. According to the general director of the state-owned Anatolia Isaikina, compared to the year 2011 this figure increased by 2.5 times. The volume of deliveries of military equipment abroad in the last year in frame of activity of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation was 15.16 billion dollars. The export plan was exceeded by 11.8 percent.
According to the Head of the Export Department helicopter and services “Rosoboroneskorta” Grigory Kozlov, currently state-owned Pre-contract orders for helicopters is about nine billion rubles. At present, Russia has exported helicopters Mi-17/171 line, Mi-28, Mi-35, Ka-28, Ka-31 and Ka-32. In the near future on the world market is scheduled to have additionally three types of helicopters: modified Mi-17 and the new Mi-38 and Ka-62.
